Individualized / Independent Supported Living:
MCCDD contracts with the Missouri Department of Mental Health to provide individualized / independent Supported Living (ISL) services. ISL is a coordinated system of supports designed to assist independence in the least restrictive environment. Services include assistance with shopping, paying bills, and use of community services.
Service Coordination:
MCCDD provides Service Coordination to all eligible individuals. Services are arranged and contracted to providers. The intake process occurs through the Sikeston Regional Office. Services include, but are not limited to, respite, assessment, children’s services personal assistance, vocational training, supported employment, assistance in obtaining guardianship, Individualized Education Plan(IEP) support, community inclusion, adult day activities, habilitation, advocacy, referrals, independent supported living and residential services.
Personal Assistance and Respite:
Individual receive services based on their persons needs. Services provide including home management shopping, pay bills, medical needs, and all daily living needs.
Community Integration
Individual is supported in becoming an active community member. Monthly activities include movies, dances, swimming, and much more.
Transportation
MCCDD contracts with SMTS to transport passengers to sheltered employment. MCCDD also provides transportation to and from community events.
Family Support and Resource
MCCDD offers resources and referrals for families.
